I understand the policy, I just think it's funny seeing so many cops and yellow shirts down there--seems disproportionate to the number of fans. I wish we had a crowd rowdy enough to storm the field. I'd happily pay the $50k fine if that happend.

Yeha I was the one that got run. For the record I still don't know why. I went down to the front row to talk to a couple of guys I knew on the field to see if they had an extra pass. The yellow shirt was listening in and I jokingly asked him if I'd have to pour out my drink. He did not laugh and radioed to somebody else. Sensing trouble I went back to my seat and watched as the yellowshirts were assembling to take me down. I could tell they were bringing the game to me so I went to the bathroom to get out of the heat and relocate (great game I actually wanted watch) When I came back out to the concourse the guy was there. He took me drink and searched my pockets (no booze) and took me into a room near the exit. He got kind of rough me and got really mad when I explained to him that he couldn't hold me there per the law ( a yellow shirt, goatee, and beer belly do not a police officer make) unless he honestly was trying to make a citizen's arrest. I tried to walk out and he and another yellowshirt took me down and it this point it was no longer funny. I motioned for a cop who told them to let me go and I immediately left to hit the Blvd. which had a much larger crowd than the crowd that was in Ford for a 1 score game in the the third quarter. I've been doing much worse in the stadium than have a 5 dollar diet soda with a pull of crown in it before and never been hasseled so I'll just assume this was a fluke. If it happens again I may have to retire my Phi Delt jersey.

Just for the record and for all of my female fans, I'm not quite yet to my mid 40s all though I will hit mid 30s in a couple more years.

Screw the table, more important is the hotel suite for the after party

I find it sad that they tossed him (or anyone for that matter) out for such benign behavior, given the poor attendance. Back when we played at Owenby and played real schools, I remember lots of open drinking in the stands and nobody seemed to get kicked out.

Casino Party is a hell of a Party-it started just a couple of years before I was at SMU. I've been a member of Calyx and Dervish and Casino Party when I was there ranks among the best Formal parties in Dallas. I'm reminded everytime I go to Margarita Ball-which is a mess.

Wildest Blowout Party-Y.O. Ranch Party at Mountain Home Texas-outside of Kerrville.

It just made me happy that we are skipping the Margarita Ball this year.
