More Oklahoma recruiting updates

Oklahoma City (Carl Albert) LB Steve Dunn (5-10, 195, 4.5) is being recruited as a safety prospect. He benches 340 and squats 520. As a junior, he was a Class 5A All Star, named second-team All-City and second-team All-State. His team won the state 5A championship in his sophomore and junior years. As a junior, he had 144 tackles, five sacks and two caused fumbles. SMU is one of three schools (along with Tulsa and TCU) to which Dunn has taken an unofficial visit.

Oklahoma City (Millwood) OL/DL Major Connally (6-3, 280, 5.1) is the anchor of both lines at Cory Muse's old high school. He's very quick for a big man and very adept as a pulling blocker. He's already drawing interest from Oklahoma State, LSU, Notre Dame and Tennessee.

Tulsa (Union) LB Zach Snider (6-3, 215, 4.5) is a tall LB who should add a lot of weight as he matures. He's a ferocious tackler who has led the Redskins in tackles in each of the last two seasons, and is fast enough to play safety. Snider is drawing interest from numerous Big 12 schools, including Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Kansas and Kansas State.

Tulsa (Memorial) OL Chris Cherry (6-5, 280, 5.2) is a bruising blocker who is still growing. With a good senior season, he is expected to draw heavy recruiting attention. He has very good feet and good balance, which coupled with his long arms make him a solid pass blocker. Run blocking will improve with increased strength.i

I'll take Cherry first, then Connally. Not that I've seen either play, but I like a 6'5" frame as a starting point. Turn that kid over to Coach Faucette and lets see what he can produce.
