JJ is taking on a much more difficult assignment at SMU than he did at Hawaii

when he took over Hawaii he had a team (despite their previous years record) with much better over all talent and a pretty good Defense at a time when the WAC was downgraded and easier after most of the conference left

add to that the homefield advantage of Aloha stadium and JJ was able to pull off a much quicker turn around then what you guys are seeing

the most important thing for you guys right now is that the players are learning his system and hopefully your defense will be upgraded

remember even a good defense will have bad numbers on JJ team --- and JJ will stick by his system no matter what --- if McMackin came with JJ then you would be in much better shape (your loss our gain)

anyhow, lighten up --- JJ will produce results --- but remember the menehune will be watching

Thank you for the good words.

JJ is building a team and he started with the O side. After the first half of the Tulane game the light bulb went off in BLM's head, and maybe the whole offense.

If we had a marginal D we would have won 3 to 4 more games so far.

IF JJ picks up 4 to 6 JUCO D players for next year - watch out... 5 and 5 here we come. Please laugh at that low desire.

In 4 to 5 years I BELIEVE that JJ will build a team.

As for now... You need to come to campus for game day on the Boulevard.

SWEETNESS.
Peace be with you always.

If it takes JJ all 5 years to turn our program around then in reality that is all that matters whether we like the time frame or not.

I agree, Getting it turned around in 5 years is far more than the coaches before him
