They have fallen pretty far. I forget, but when was the last time they broke the top 10?
I believe it has been since they won the Big XII in 1998. I don't think that they have been in the top 25 in a while either.
By the way, when is the last time WE were in the top 25? How about the last time we were in the top 100?
A&M actually cracked the top 25 a couple different times under Coach Fran, but it was early in the year when they hadn't played the hard part of their conference schedule.
I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but you have to actually rise to heights before you can fall from anywhere. "Almost" beating a pathetic Baylor team that didn't score a single point vs. Texas or Tech that year and then a miracle upset over TCU....GREAT!!!
Don't forget we lost 66-8 to a pretty mediocre A&M team the next week.
The only good news is that no matter how pathetic we are this year...and we are pretty pathetic, I'm pretty sure we could stay within 50 of the Aggy this year.
