OT: In Need of Fantasy Football Help/Question

If you had Adrian Peterson on your team, would you trade him at all?

guy is offering me thomas jones and greg jennings for him...guy also has gore, barber, royal, and boldin on his roster so he'll be stacked if i accept that trade.

i really dont want to, ive told him i want more but jones and jennings arent bad pick ups.

its a full fantasy league with keepers, meaning its Offense, Defense, and Special Teams players on the roster and you get to keep 8 players for next year, and of course AD is one of my keepers.

should i be foolish to accept the trade or hold AD ransom and ask for more since the guy is already stacked, in first place and on the way to the league title???


P.S. ive looked at the schedules for next season and Jones and the Jets dont have an as easy schedule next year as they have this year. The vikes on the other hand have an easier schedule next year.

thats what i was thinking at first...

i would tell him make it gore/jennings for AD

then i thought if i got gore and another quality WR for AD, it would be a decent deal.

deadlines wednesday so im just going to email all the owners and ask if they want to trade for AD and maybe ill get a better deal. im sure they'll be some dumb person who will think like Jerrry Jones and over pay .

From the list you provided of other players on his team, I would eliminate Royal. Boldin and Gore or Boldin and Barber have higher value to me than Jones and Jennings.

However, in a keeper league, especially a football, and doublly especially keeping 8, I say don't trade him at all.

Out of curiosity, do the same teams end up in the same slots on a yearly basis? I play in a 12 team keeper league, and we just voted to drop the keepers from 5 to 4 to 3 over a two year period in order to make the league more competitive.

i believe they do.

its an 8 team league and the owner finally started getting involved. he started out with just 3 keeps and I chose AD, Witten, and Wayne but last week we all voted to move the number of keepers up to 8.

and i totally agree that barber and boldin are better than Jones and Jennings. Jones has had huge games against weak Ds, and his schedule gets tougher next year so this year might just be a fluke after how he played last year.
