I need to show someone Austin's BEST restaurants. I've got two dinners and two lunches and one breakfast next week.
One dinner is at the Salt Lick, but the rest is wide open. Thoughts?
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

its not a restuarant but Alamo Draft house has great food and you can catch a movie too

Fado's in the warehouse district is a fav. of mine. great food and great selection of beer

Manuels on Congress has great food and some bomb margaritas

if youre a fan of sushi, Zen is a quick grab n go place to eat. delicious too.
and theres always kenichi if you want some upscale fish

haha of course. you have to know when to take advantage of certain threads.
ive actually never had stubbs bbq but everytime im in austin, thats all everyone says when someone says bbq

also if youre a beer drinker like i am, They Flying Saucer in the Triangle is a great place to go.

There is a good breakfast place on Congress (I think) near the freeway that runs to the airport. Any Austinite know of what I speak?
