JUCO Help

Postby LakeHighlandsPony » Tue Nov 18, 2008 9:36 am

I hope we are actively going after about 6 guys on defense and about 6 guys on offense. I really don't want to see the exact same team 1 year older next year.

Sorry, but that's mathematically impossible, if we sign everyone that's already committed. I dont mean we'd have to run off a few current players to free up scholarships, I mean the NCAA wont let you give out that many in 1 year.

xTc you have it right but we NEED what the man wrote.

Maybe at least 3 DT's from the JUCO ranks.

Well, I guess if I say yes, then we can just do whatever we want. So, sure, go ahead.

Rodney Bradley (WR), former signee, is doing well at Navarro

I saw a story recently about him I think on Rivals-he's looking at some other schools. Approximate stats were 30 catches, 20 yards per catch 9 TDs-Coach said they don't throw as much as Bradley probably wished they did but that he has caught everything thrown his way. Navarro lost last week I think but they had been No. 1 in the Nation.

James Cleveland-the SMU legacy who had a great freshman season at Iowa is still out there too.

Not saying its great by any means but I say the OL is less in need of help than say our DL and secondary. Also I don't have stats in front of me but it seems like we are running the ball a bit better these days.
Larry Brown? We have Larry Brown? Cool!
