Had we not declared an end to combat operations two weeks ago, this game could have been close.
Sigh.

Your team will turn around next year. Something's got to give. You guys who are sticking around through this steaming pile of a season will enjoy it that much more when your team is successful again.
All that being said, Southern Miss is going to whip up on SMU this time. For as down and out as your side is right now, we are equally fired up. I don't know if we'll hang 70 up on you like we did on UAB but I do not expect the score to be close.
I hope no players are injured on either side and I wish you guys good luck in the off season.
Respectfully,
Bobby BlackAndGold

Bobby Collins in my opinion was just the Fall-Guy in way over his head in this situation caused by the real Cheaters-who ran the school. He didn't start the cheating nor did ge make the decision to continue cheating. Heck the President of the University refused to stand up the ad hoc Board of Govenors. Not saying that Bobby Collins was completely innocent but from my understanding SMU had some alumni buying recruits that the Coaching staff weren't even recruiting. See Sean Stopperich from Pittsburg.

I am sure that BlackandGold is right. Remember how being fired up for that bowl invitation carried us to victory against Rice a couple of years ago.

I like to make it easier for you who live in the past to do so:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=263290242
Difference here is Rice had something to play for, too.

WOW. If you lose a few more games maybe you will find time to find your sense of humor.

Regarding the 12 game rule. If you play at Hawaii or Alaska don't you get an extra game.

Oh, we've been there. I mean, never as bad as you guys are right now, but we've had plenty of crap seasons. Who knows, this season could turn to crap if we lose to SMU next Saturday. And I may win next year's American Idol.

Just keep that monster receiver at home. That would only be fair.
