Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beRivals states that young Mr. Shavers, a 6'3 235 4.8/40 Def. Lineman already has an offer from SMU.
Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beIs he looking at graduating early from H.S. and entering college next year?
Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beWEll i have heard he has. commited. I know for sure that Chris Hall from irving was offered and has commited. I dont know why that is not posted on this site becuase that is a HUGE commitment. Chris will be one of the best lineman in the state. I have heard that this d-lineman is a great player.
Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beIs Shavers a DE or a DT?
Can Shavers and Chris Hall announce their commitments through the media now, like Drew Tate did with his commitment to A&M a couple of years ago (before shifting to Iowa)? With a full allotment of scholarships available next year, I'd think that if Shavers and Hall are as good as advertised, that would be a huge start to next year's class. Plagiarize!
Let no one else's work evade your eyes. Remember why the good lord made your eyes. So don't shade your eyes, just Plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize! (Only be sure always to call it, please .... "research.")
Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beShavers is actually about 6'5, but the 4.8 is definetly true
Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beIs everyone else feeling the same way I am? While maintaining a sense of reality for the immediate future, I can't help but be really fired up about the future of SMU football.

Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beIt may still be a year or two off, but SMU football is going to be kicking some butt very soon.
Keep up the good work coaches!! SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beRumor has it Marcus Shavers has now joined Chris Hall in accepting his offer for Signing Day 2005. But I know nothing about him. Anyone have more scoop on him as a player, other than the height/weight/40?

Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beFound a little bit online. Named State 5A "Best of the Rest" (meaning not quite top 10) as a kicker/punter. District 9-5A Co-Offensive Sophomore of the Year as a TE.

Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beMe and Marcus went against each other all during camp. He's 6'5 235 and runs a legit 4.8
Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beBTW 1411 where does Rivals refer to Marcus Shavers-I couldn't find him in their Database.

Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beRivals has no 2005 database yet... so I'm confused too.

Re: Marcus Shavers -Allen HS Junior to beRivals has done a couple (at least 2) of stories on Shavers. Unfortunately, I haven't subscribed to them, or otherwise I'd post them.
