Nice win! Hopefully we play better tomorrow to make it 3 in a row. I suspect Illinois State will be a tougher test!

Just missing Dia's offense tonight. The rest of the team did reasonably well on offense.

Williams needs to be hitting his free throws; he's been awful from the line this year.

I thought we lost to them. Nice to win. Always nice to win. But 9-21 from the foul line. Yuck!

bama state is a scrappy and athletic bunch. not a bad win for smu tonight. 18 points for McCoy? Almost 1/3 of the 56 we scored by a freshman doing other little things too. Real Deal.

Just back from the game.

Was pretty ugly, but was nice to see McCoy and Bamba have a big game. Bamba is really impressive, he is in excellent condition and runs up and down the floor without getting tired, rare for someone his size, if he can stay outta foul trouble he could play all 40 minutes.

Was a nice stretch there when they were down by 9 and then went on the run to get it up to 10, too bad they quit playing with four minutes left.

Look forward to the game tomorrow night against a tougher team and see how we match up.

its good to have depth, but gotta narrow the rotation against good teams. the first half tonight was like watching a tennis match with players bouncing back and forth from scorers table.

I totally agree, I think Doherty is trying to find the right mix, but we definitely need to shore up the rotation here soon, was very frustrating the way players were going in and out, hard to get any rapport going.

Well when you play 3 games in 3 nites it's probably not a bad idea.

We made one three pointer tonight...We only attempted five...Not even the same team from last night...We shot 24 and made 11...Not sure if we changed strategy due to the team or didn't get looks...I was there and couldn't tell...

I thought the lads did really well tonight given the offense was very stuttering. I thought the energy level was good, they took ASU's big guy out early with fouls, and, although the crowd was tiny, I had a great time.

Tomorrow will be tough, but I will be there again.

Our FG % defense has been outstanding the first three games. That is a sign that we are starting to match up athletically with teams. Illinois State will be a big test for that.

Our ofense might be inconsistant all year because of the kids, but if we can play good defense and stay in games, I like our depth and big men in close matchups.

This was a team we should have drubbed and the shooting under Doherty continues to be a major problem for some reason.

What should we do against Ill. St.? I think they beat Alabama St. by 6 and then demolished HB.
When will I start feeling stimulated??
