Has an offer from Arizona and UTEP and will also visit Texas Tech. Remains a solid commit to SMU but is quickly getting more interest.

I have faith in our coaches to keep him.

my bad, per an interview on scout. It is encouraging to see guys that our staff evaluated early and offered are getting more offers. Says a lot about their ability to evaluate which is something I dont think any staff we have had post DP has been very good at.

Refugio advances after a 44-14 victory over Dilley in 2A. They remain undefeated

I don't know if he has been on campus yet but his official visit is in January. We apparently have a 50% shot according to him but who knows. He really likes UTEP and is visiting Arizona. I would say don't hold your breath although if he actually does his official visit, we may have a chance.

Wasn't he one of the early commits for JJ, that had no other offers at the time? Seems like we have a number of players that have been adding offers as the season has progressed. I remember a couple people, that were screaming that "we are his only offer". Just shut your pie holes, and let June Frikin' Jones do his job.
