I remember a couple people, that were screaming that "we are his only offer". Just shut your pie holes, and let June Frikin' Jones do his job.

Arnold & I both agree

Mr. Frazier's name has been placed on the agenda of the next "we did not want him anyway" board meeting. It is not certain that a decsion will be made in the December meeting but we are confident that a final decision will be in place prior to the February signing date.

Or, in the alternative, we'll continue to analyze the information as it comes in and and base whatever conclusion we draw on that information. If you're interested in shutting your pie hole however, please feel free. Though for the life of me, I have no idea why you would even visit a silent message board.

Or do we just need to clear our posts with you before we submit them?

Alex has a great point that needs to be acknowledged, Cadillac. We always hear the geniuses say how right they are. Be kind of nice for someone to admit they were wrong, that's all. And, no, I'm not thinking of anyone in particular. Jones appears to be a good judge of talent and deserves some credit for it.

Sure, there's no doubt that Jones is a good evaluator of talent and it's great that his early offers are getting later looks. However, telling people to shut up because you don't like what they have to say doesn't seem particularly useful. I mean, it's great if idiots like 2112 want to toss it around, but stifling conversation about recruits is counter to the whole point of having a message board devoted to them.

Alex wasn't speaking to anyone in particular other than those who instinctively assume that a recruit has no talent because Rivals tells them so. It's a fair criticism and you shouldn't try to silence it.

everybody needs to get hold of themselves here
and let the man making millions do his job. do you really think
you can evaluate talent on the level of one June Sheldon Jones?

I interpret it as Alex saying that people should not be allowed to post anything that bases a player's projected value on his current offers. Instead, they should shut their pie holes.

He's entitled to his opinion, I haven't once tried to "silence" him (what is this the KGB?).

Sorry. I'm in a cranky mood today. I understand what you're saying and will let Alex speak for himself.
