Magnolia Cafe is infinitely better
thought it might be better. Kerby Lane, IMHO is 10x better than Cafe Brazil. and for those that dont like Cafe Brazil, Kerby Lane is the shizzznit!
Girls love it when you take them to KL for Sunday brunch - Magnolia is filled with damn Austin hippies
But what if I can't remember her name????

Lambert's downtown is a white tablecloth barbecue joint that has some great food. Also, Hyde Park Cafe or Eastside Cafe have some really creative cuisine at moderate prices. Any of the three are great for lunch or dinner. Look at their websites for a peak at the menus.
Oh, I also like Z Tejas grill on 6th. All of these places have a lot of local flavor.
