We hope you choose to come to the Hilltop.

SMU is a great school with an up and coming football team, combined with a great coach, and a tradition that is second to none.

You have the chance to be a part of something special here.

After Marcus commits, SMU will have the no.1 offensive lineman (Chris Hall) and the no.1 defensive lineman (Marcus Shavers) in the state for 2005.

I may be out of touch, but hopefully that grammar display is just some shorthand that is used in chat rooms. If not, there will be some Rhetoric teachers scratching their heads in a couple of years.

Yeah, I guess "Cangradulations" and "excepted the offer" would save some time on the old keyboard.

Hey BigBoy05! I like your style. If you decide to play for the Stangs, then you and WarDog will run the show on the Hilltop. With top players like yourself and Wardog commiting early, others will follow your lead and come to SMU. Although we had a down year last season, we were without our top two quarterbacks, running back, and wide receiver. Any team in the country would struggle without those key players. With Bartel, the Comet, and Kincade, we will be ready to go for next season. Bennett brought in the best recruiting class at SMU in over twenty years and he has just begun. He is going to lead us to bowl games and top 20 status soon. There is a lot of momentum and excitement building around the football team and we are destined to move into a better conference soon. Whatever decision you make, Johnny Rock wishes you the best of luck. Hopefully, one day you will be playing football with a Mustang on your helmet and all of your fans can watch you play close to home. Take care and best of luck.

Lay off the kid...he's 16-17...I didn't learn how to type very well until I started working (23-24?), and then some.

Many times you are typing quickly and you spell a word that sounds like the word you intended, but didn't consciously edit (eg., consciencely)...

He isn't writing a term paper dude...just a quick note...

SO, good luck in school, and the important thing is that these KIDS are interested in SMU!

I'm 50 yrs old and still can't type worth a #!*!#. I do have to look back and be thankful my H.S. basketball coach made us take the typing course HE taught. He knew it would serve us well someday. Thanks to him, I can spend countless hours talking sports.

I like wardog's confidence - #1 OL and #1 DL? I'll take it!

Marcus, you predicted you will accept the offer one day - go ahead and make your announcement here on PonyFans.com!

Welcome aboard!

BIGBOY05 - listen to Otto, and say it loud:

"I'm accepting SMU's scholarship offer."

You need to be a Mustang!
