The scheduling on this game was just stupid. TCU basketball is trying to recover from the severe apathy of the Dougherty era and we need a few games where we can draw a crowd. So, they put the SMU game on the night before Thanksgiving....just brilliant.

Of course that's IF Faye becomes eligible. As XTC said, I'll believe it when I see him on a court during a game. But that's certainly one possibility. He might also have loaded up with Holiday games so that it didn't interfere with exam schedules. On the other hand, these younger players are now seeing what they need to work on and perhaps getting a little extra practice will help. I will add that this game was a good measuring stick game and losing to TCU badly is not a good sign.

What problem is there with Faye' eligibility? He has been at every game at the warm ups and sitting on the end of the bench. Of course, wearing a suit not a uniform. Looks like he has taken a pro active role with the players.

His history before he came to SMU and XTC who seems to have his ear to the ground on this sort of matter, seems to be worried.
