I'm not going to evaluate BLM's talent. JJ and others on this board are far more qualified for that than I am.

I do remember not too long ago people (including UT fans) blasted Colt McCoy, saying that he wasn't a college QB, that Mack had made a mistake, etc. Now, he's a Heisman candidate.

I'm not saying BLM is a Heisman candidate, as good as Colt, or anything like that. I am saying that BLM was thrown into a situation as a very young player and I hope that along with time, experience, better surrounding talent, and JJ's coaching, BLM will be better in the future than he was this year.

If our O line gets better, our running game gets better, BLM gets a year or two of experience, and he's still throwing 23 picks a season. . . then we've got a legitimate problem. However, I am confident that June Jones knows more about QB talent evaluation than any of us do.

I agree that I am not qualified to be a QB coach... But the INT's that BLM threw in the last game against Southern Miss were pathetic . They were not even close and had nothing to do with the O-Line.

Good God, the way some SMU fans blast our own players! Some of you ought to be horsewhipped for the arse holes you are.

Stallion is correct, the kid was thrown in to the fray before he'd been properly seasoned. Give him a break. Sheeeeeee!

Blame the coach not the player. JJ will stick to his guns on BLM no matter what happens. He road with Timmy Chang for 5 years even if he had someone better on the bench.

You either got it or not as a QB in his system. Timmy Chang didn't have it, Colt Brennan had it. If BLM doesn't have it, be prepared for 3 more years of fustration because JJ will ride his dead horse until it's no longer possible (injury or graduation).
