Will be really hard. Ft. Worth has TCU...and that is it...so the city does get behind them, although not as much as you woulda thought, they still don't draw football crowds like you would expect from a big city with no other sports teams.

SMU has to contend with all the Dallas pro franchises, most notably the Cowboys, easy to get lost in the shuffle, and of course the 1000s of UT alums, many of which work for the Morning News who are on a mission to make UT the adopted college of Dallas.

If we could win consistently and challenge for conference titles most years (hopefully this will happen in 3-5 years), then the crowds and support should pick up and we could probably out draw TCU consistently then since Dallas is a city of bandwagonners.

What about Boston, Chicago, and Miami? All have a pro football, baseball, hockey (except Miami), and basketball team. All also have major DI colleges.

November 26
"TCU"

This was a game that I came away from embarrassed. It was a frustrating experience as we didn't look sharp at all. I didn't like our energy, our toughness or our leadership. Plain and simple.

It was a terrible way to start off the Thanksgiving Holiday.

What is frustrating is that their coach is in his 1st year, and they have 7 new players on the team (4 true freshman, and 3 Juco transfers). Why can't SMU seem to get their new players up for big-time games?

It may take a while, but it would appear that the Frogs have

found a basketball coach that's capable of establishing a solid

program. 8)

I liked that hire. He did a great job at Kent St. Im sure he would have wanted a do-over in the NCAA tournament game against UNLV when they scored 11 points in the first half? I think he took over for Stan Heath.

Forget about the Florida Panthers of the NHL in Miami?

What about the Rangers who aren't in Dallas? Starting next year, the Cowboys will be in Dallas only by name.

There's enough people in the DFW metroplex that we could/should fill that stadium with ease.

It seems like we always play games on the same nights the Mavs are @ home. @ least it did last year.
Still should be @ least 5k to 6k in Moody on a regular basis IMO.

More W's & some home town boys should do it.

Pretty simple.
