Rating upgrade snowball effect?

Nothing succeeds like success. As SMU continues to add top-100 prospects and as services list or upgrade SMU recruits, does anyone else see an upward spiral in recruiting respect and ratings of signees?

There's no question about it. We're not deceiving ourselves into thinking we're on an even recruiting level with the big national programs, but Coach Bennett and his staff have completely changed the level of recruits SMU is chasing - and the level of recruits considering and committing to SMU.

Matt Hayes of TSN has SMU finishing 7th in WAC play I believe, but said Bennett got 9 top 100s to commit to SMU...
As we get better, we will get better recruits. The Snowball is starting to roll down the hill and there is a lot of frozen fluffy water in its path.
