-Per Armen Williams at Rivals. But I'm sure the Dallas Morning News will have the entire story about the process in 2-3 months.

Welcome Ryan! Nice to have a 4 star Corner coming to SMU. This is possibly the first 4 star recruit we have had since the DP. Hopefully, this is the beginning of have more 4 stars to come. Way to go Coach Odum!

He would be the second. SOC's Marcus Moseley was the first around 1998 or 1999. He just never showed up for class. That's why he never showed up on the field. Easy to forget that.

I thought Moseley was top 40 or 50 in the country and that would have made him a 5 star not 4 star. Anyway, I really hope Ryan does well and I wish him the best.

We also had another 4 Star OL (last name was Harris)Coach Cavan recruited in 1999 or 2000. The guy had offers from just about every school in the country. If I remember, he only started here his Jr. & Sr. years. His Sr. year was Bennett's 2nd...the 0-12 2003 team.

I was told this weekend that Tech backed off on him because he's insisting on playing cornerback instead of safety which is where Tech's coaches needed him and think he's more natural. Story not vetted...

Do we now have a new committee?
The WTHA committee. Which is not to be confused with the WDNWHA committee.
