Cotton Bowl Visitors Advice

Post by max the wonder dog »

Some Ole Miss friends asked where the hot spots for students will be over New Year's. They specifically asked about 6th Street, which is after my time. They will be staying at Reunion Hyatt.

Looking for two venues -- a place the family can have dinner together(went to JTG's in Ft Worth last trip and liked it) and a place the students can go to party when Mom and Dad head back to the hotel.

the 6th streets in dallas arent the best places to go...haha

if students are looking for a great time on the town around new years eve and on new years i'd say go to victory park. they are doing the New Years Eve NYC dallas event again. it should be a large crowd out there.

Greenville Ave. is always a hot spot on New Years

I heard Colleyville is nice this time of year. Good university environment. Probably a great scene at the boulevard.

When the Cotton Bowl is played, they should still be sleeping off a hangover.
Pretty sure I will be.

That only happens when SMU or the University of Houston plays in the Cotton Bowl.
