we'll take him anywhere
No kidding, if he's that good of an athlete, let him kick PATs if he wants

Actually the secondary is our strongest defensive area. We most need help on the line and at linebacker.

McCan and Bell are as good of corners as we have had since KG in my opinion. Banjo showed a lot of promise as a freshman and should be a solid player here. Adding a 4 star DB should add to a position where we have some legit D1 talent. But fact of the matter is, if you have no pass rush even the best corners will get beat on a consistent basis.
Our D-line does not generate significant pressure on a consistent basis. Our front 7 is as strong as a wet paper sack versus the running game. Lastly, we had ZERO athleticism/speed at LB this year and were constantly exposed when those guys were in pass protection.
Yenga for Bonilla is a HUGE upgrade to our LB core next season, even if Smart and Fleps are still starting. Fleming and Thompson showed promise as rushers off the edge (although Flemming really needs to get bigger). The biggest, among many, question mark will be if we have some DT's than can get the job done next season.

So who would be our projected starters on the D-line next season? Obviously, it is very early to make any such projections. But other than Fleming and Thompson, I don't think I can even name a returning D-lineman if Yenga is going to LB.

If you are not over 275 you are not a DT you are a DE. And if you are under 240 you are not a DE you are an LB.
Love to read Yenga to LB.
We need serious help on the D-line.
Have we tried cloning and excelerated growth chambers?

Sounds like we need some serious juco/transfer help on the D-line then. As long as we have 230 lb d-linemen, we are going to get killed.
I too like the Yenga to LB move. That guy is solid.

Yes, if only we could find ONE Juco to help the line. If only. Where oh where can we find one of those?

He would be the second. SOC's Marcus Moseley was the first around 1998 or 1999. He just never showed up for class. That's why he never showed up on the field. Easy to forget that.
MM was a 3-star but highly recruited
