Well for a while they had 2 Dicks and a Nutt.. referring to the 2 QBs for allen and Houston Nutt.. of course :D

This would be an excellent situation if we could get him here.
It all starts with the QB & we need as many quality leaders as we can get.
Landing the QB from Allen also brings the potential of teammates from Allen joining him.

Petty would work too !

PS Just to play along, Arkansas also has 4 Johnson's on their roster :)

Nathan is a better QB than Casey. He has a stronger arm and a much better drop back passer. He would be a great fit in the run and shoot. Plus it is not every day that SMU has a chance at a SEC starting QB.

They say that he is transferring to a small school where he can play right away. Texas State was mentioned, and another I do not recall. I do not think he has any thoughts of going Div 1A.

Personally, I think he is making a good move. He was probably going to go into the spring as 3rd team behind Mallett and Tyler Wilson. With the kid who decommitted from Tennessee in the picture as a possible, I think he saw the writing on the wall.

He should have committed to SMU when he had the chance.

He is now a member of the SHCTSMU club.

I did not see this anywhere else, but Nathan [deleted] has chosen to transfer to the University of Central Arkansas. Pretty good school to play for in the next level down.

UCA has a pretty good thing going. They played well vs Tulsa for 3 quarters, mostly because of whomever they had at QB this year.

They joined the Southland along with TAMCC, I guess in anticipation of Tx State moving up.
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.

Well, with the loss of Nutt, [deleted] was pretty much useless.
