would love to see at least 4 guys in double figures tonite; Otis is close. Bamba? Dia? Malone? Let's see some guys step it up offensively to finish this game

As much as this team needs "leadership" and a "go to" guy, they also need to feel like any number of guys can step it up and be our leading scorer on any given night. That's a big part of why I want to see balanced scoring. We have no superstars.

it doesn't seem to matter who our coach is or who we are playing...other teams light us up from 3 pt range while we remain very inconsistent on the perimeter.

The team was more competitive this game. I'm just sick of losing. Frustrating.

Snob & Patton are obvious newcomers to SMU basketball; otherwise you would recall the early Dave Bliss years when we went 7-20 and 6-21 in back to back years (the latter was Jon Koncak's FR year)
That 7-20 season featured back to back to back losses at Moody to Rollins College, Texas Wesleyan & Texas-Arlington

won't win too many games shooting 1-12 from 3 pt range
or turning it over 12 times against only 7 assists

a slush fund isn't bailing out Doh
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

No...but these FR & SO players (those who survive 4 years) will be part of a winning program before they graduate

I've been around SMU basketball since 1987......I thought it was bad during some of the Shumate and Dement years..........I guess the 87-88 season is going to be as good as it is ever going to get..........although 93 was a fun season....until the conference tournament...........
