Can't really disagree with the decision. Kids transfer all the time.

My wife went to SMU and her parents' house was 1 mile west of the campus. She didn't see her parents until Thanksgiving her freshman year on The Hilltop. If you're determined not to see your parents, it can be done.

My daughter told me that she is so happy at SMU instead of USC.
The main reasons is that she is 1500 miles away from her mother and me!

Some of you are being real [deleted] making fun of this guy. Gamso is the kind of guy you want your daughter to marry. I dont know if he is a college Qb or not but a tremendous human being.

I realize he was a walk-on but have we had any player in the last 2 decades transfer from our program to a BSC program?

My stepdaughters know better than to marry an Aggie. That said, I wish Gamso the best. Too bad we won't see him in an SMU uni anymore. He could have been the first Highland Park product to lead the 'Stangs at QB since Lance McIlhenny.

Quit taking things so seriously, it is internet message board humor.

1. As long as June Jones maintains an interest in coaching SMU, BLM is his quarterback for the next three seasons.
2. That is, as long as BLM can remain upright.
3. The kid is already stating that if football doesn't work out, he'd be happy at A&M. Not exactly Chris Sanders-like ambition. Maybe he sees the writing on the wall, playing-wise. Maybe he doesn't like the atmosphere at SMU - either in the program or on the campus. Can't say that I blame him either way. SMU's not for everyone, not everyone is a perfect fit for every football program.
4. Gamso is a good kid. He's got a strong arm and a great disposition. If he keeps at it, he may see the field someday, somewhere. Stranger things have happened.

And Casey Clyce was Mike Romo's backup in 1989.

Stollenwerck contradicts MM65's statement, which was about "leading the Mustangs."
Clyce ... does not contradict MM65's statement, uni or no.
