I wonder how many top 25 votes Rice will get at the end of the year. They had a few in all the polls before this impressive win. They may not quite be a top 25 team, but they are close.

Don't forget after the Rice game in 2006, Bennett suggested that they couldn't have gotten into SMU, which was a complete load of BS, since Bennett did tell Dillard he could try and walk on and the kid had a Basketball offer from Cornell.

It is maddening. The people that still say Bennett was a "great guy" drive me nuts. He is only a great guy the way the guy trying to sell me a car this weekend was a great guy. Bennett was full of it.
