the problem with the BCS are the conference tie ins. based on what teams made the BCS bowls this year, it should have looked like this:

USC vs Texas
Utah vs. Cincy
Va Tech vs Penn St
Ohio St vs. Alabama
OU vs. Florida

All except the Cincy/Utah game are pretty appealing matchups and could be close games.
