Post by MrMustang1965 »

Student Body Co-Op, located in Mockingbird Station. College themed sports apparel. Owners are graduates of SMU and Texas Tech.

thats actually a pretty interesting concept for a store since a lot of those schools alumni live in the metroplex. although in this economy i'd be curious to see how it does.

i wonder if they have good SMU gear? Or just the same stuff you can get at the bookstore. i may go check it out later this month.

Location is "I-75 and Mockingbird." Funny...I didn't realize I-75 entered the state of Texas. Learn something new every day.

At this time, they do not have ANY SMU gear. However, they will soon have some because they've just signed a deal with the Mustang Locker Room to carry their stuff. At least, that's what one of the managers told me yesterday when I went in there. Right now, all they carry is Texas Tech, OU, UT and aTm gear. Also, the location they're in (next door to the ice cream place - Cold Stone?) is temporary. They'll be moving to another location in Mockingbird Station soon.

If they have no SMU gear, I won't stop in when I visit Dallas next weekend.
Once a Mustang, ALWAYS a Mustang!
