Real estate developer developing retail properties. Business is dead. Luckily I liquidated all investments in August 2007. Wish I could say the same for the other 2 principals, both of whom leveraged up at the end of 2007, they didn't want to hear bad news from me.

Every company I deal with is laying off staff. Contact them and say you will work for experience and no pay

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Ordinarily, I would actually be OK with that...but I'm an SMU student so I need money to pay for school.

You might want to try Clinton Real Estate in Little Rock. Bring your thong.

start studying for the MCAT OR

get a summer job working in a bank's Florida real estate work out department.

some of it might be really boring but it will be educational. I know Colonial Bank for one was and might still be looking for people to go to FL. lack of experience is obviously an issue. you'd get an education in cml r/e, distressed assets and when not to invest/develop
