Preston King

Postby SMUtrojanFAN » Tue Jan 06, 2009 7:23 pm

Found this article from the Orange County Register about top OC football prospects. Apparently we have offered an official visit to Tesoro's Preston King, the Register's Defensive Player of the Year.

Here's a related article about being named Defensive POY. (http://www.ocvarsity.com/articles/king-tesoro-titans-2267739-poston-pac).

Nothing that exciting according to Rivals, but he's been offered as a preferred walk-on at USC.

any idea if his family has any $? preferred walk on still equates to $42,000.00/year of tuition versus a scholly at SMU for FREE education. USC is nice and all, but dollars are dollars.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Other schools have offered the opportunity to walk-on, like Hawaii, San Jose State, SMU and Nevada. Some have said scholarships could materialize, but nothing is concrete.

Anyone else old enough to have thought this thread might be about Sgt. Preston of the Yukon and his faithful dog King?

Not sure what his family's personal finances are but if he lives in the Rancho Santa Margarita area, he probably isn't living on food stamps.

Probably not as cozy as Coto or Dove, though. Not passing judgment, but Dutch is still right. Free ed is good ed.
