Corn boy seems pretty sensitive on the class issue.
Unfortuantely for the Huskers - they have become the same as the Big 10 - irrelevant "once great but now has-been" programs.
Granted - we would love to get up to middle of the road with them - but thats a different issue.

Do not make assinine statements about things about which you do not know. Name some other players, instead of saying "I think." Who are you speaking of? Tommie Frazier? Brook Berringer? Michael Booker? Kris Brown? Grant Wistrom? Aaron Taylor? Jason Peter was later addicted to Vicadin--oooohh how thug-ish! My brother-in-law was on that team. I graduated from medical school with two other members of that team. There were a number of Academic All-American's on that team. How is that for tone? By the way, Lawrence Phillips was long gone before 1997 and Scott Frost, which is what we were discussing--making your retort about him idiotic.
Remember Roll Left!! James Brown to Derek Lewis!!

Yes, the irrelevant team that kept Texas out of the national title game this year. (If Joe Ganz hadn't thrown that interception in OT in Lubbock, Texas would be playing in Miami tomorrow night.)
And don't worry....Pelini held back 50 redshirts this year. As long as we get our QB situation figured out for next year, we will be just fine. (Anyone down there know if that Cody Green kid is as actually as good as he is hyped to be?)

As long as Bo stops throwing temper tantrums on the sidelines and stops getting flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, you guys should be OK.

Maybe he can study films of how Woody Hayes handled the sideline.

He seems to have gotten that under control......although I can't say the same thing about Jim Tressel! Ha! I thought he was going to clock that ref in the face Monday night!
It must have been the sweater vest that stopped him.

I don't see any Big 12 North teams competing with UT and OU any time soon-upsets are always possible but the talent descrepancies with the Big 12 North schools is huge. In fact, the South's winning percentage over the North during the last 5 years or so is laughable. Its no contest right now on the field or in recruiting.

Oh my god. Do you really want to go through the list of "class" players at the schools you root for when it's convenient? Texas, the Moderate 10.5 - they've all had 'em. You start out defending the Moderate 10.5's teams, then badmouth a college kid for lobbying for a national title (which would make Pete Carroll and Mack Brown the antichrists this year, right?), then switch to band smack (really ... get help) and now you're ripping a guy from 10 years ago at a school that has had a relatively clean image?

Oh what a difference a year makes!
2007--Big 12 North vs Big 12 South: 10-8
And that is with one of the worst Nebraska teams in history!
Highlights of how good the Big 12 South was last year: lowly Colorado beat Oklahoma and Texas Tech. Texas lost to K-State for the second year in a row!
(Don't get me wrong, I agree that OU and Texas are clearly in the drivers seat right now by a long shot. Missouri is a fraud, and Hawkins isn't taking Colorado anywhere fast. But Tech will have a drop off with the loss of Harrell and Crabtree [they still have no defense] and Texas A&M is nearing awful at the moment.)
Even though it is more difficult to recruit to colder climates, the discrepancy has less to do with recruiting than it does with all of the coaching changes in the north. Barnett being ousted at CU, Snyder retiring at K-State, Callahan (need I say more?) Texas, OU, Ok St., and Tech have had a lot more consistency in coaching staffs in recent years. Prior to that when the south was going through all of its coaching changes, the south wasn't looking too sweet either. (Except for Texas, who already had Mack Brown in place.)

If the Big 10 is a "fraud" and it takes self-proclaimed national champs Texas a last second TD to beat their 2nd place team... what's that make Texas?

members of the enterprise in a RICO scheme
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.
