so did any of you Bubble Boys get to watch Jonathan Lindley in HP's 49-28 victory over Sulphur Springs. The Stafford kid is only a Soph right. Just from watching highlites over the year he looks like one of the brightest pro-style QB to come down the pike in years. Great height and he appears to have great mechanics.

Didn't make it out to see the game, but I was sorry to read this morning that Sulphur Springs' season is over. Can he suit up for us today?

I saw Stafford play at Ford Stadium against Stephenville and I've seen the highlights every week since. He's got a very good arm and he has good size for a sophmore. He should be the third straight HP starting QB (I intentionally exclude the two guys he beat out to win the job after the Stephenville game) to get a D1 scholarship. Based on his early start, he could be the best of the three. Maybe we'll be able to convince him to stay in the bubble . . .

Coach Bennett has said that part of his plan to recruit local guys within the 300-mile radius is his intention to get a kid or two every year from Highland Park. I don't know if they have any seniors this year who merit a scholarship, but this is a guy we should be working on now. I've only seen him once, but he's extremely impressive, especially for a sophomore.
