How is Miami able to do this? If he withdraws from school, he sits out a year taking classes and transfers where he wants to, no?

What is the hiccup here b/c this seems a little weird to me.

Based on the schools of his choice, he simply wants more PT and/or to play from another big program. This really isn't about his father.

If he is interested in SMU, fine. However, given this row w/ Miami, methinks he becomes the ultimate in distractions.

He is better right now than any QB we have can ever be.

Hopefully, he doesn't go to Central Florida. If they had a solid QB last year, they would have been very good. As it was, their QB by committee helped them limp through the season.

Marve is used to operating in a spread or run and shoot type offense. UCF's offense would not suit him. USF does operate of out a spread but Grothe is a senior and they have 2 pretty good kids behind him. It will be interesting to see how this thing plays out now the we have had the hearing on the restrictions. Who knows, Shawnbrey may even be making calls to encourage him to come to SMU. Whatever the case we will find out in about a week.

Given the offense Miami is trying to run, the QB runs over 50% of the time, maybe Willis should push for a straight up trade! "That along with Coach Shannon's demands to run the ball more then 50% of the time lead to his mediocre numbers and was the reason he left"

USF just got a commitment from a QB today. This probaby takes them out of the Marve's consideration.

Man I'm really looking forward to seeing this offense in 2010 if we land Marve. Combine him with McNeil, Darius Johnson, Al Robinson, and maybe a couple of big guys on the outside and we will have a pretty nasty offense.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Teller retired at Purdue and I'm not sure what type of system they may be running next year. OK State maybe a good fit for him from all aspects of his life.
