UNT 119 at least they didn't pay $2m for their one win
Very sad to still be this low after all these years and coaches

Note where Tulane at #115 was considered "over matched" even in C-USA. At least at #118 we are not over matched.

A) SMU isn't paying him a dime - some donors are.
B) The one win isn't what Coach Jones is being paid for. He was brought here to build the program, and he's doing that, but nobody who understands these things thought it would be an overnight turnaround.

Amen, PonyTales. Well said, we are in this for the long haul.
But man, that running horse thing is still disturbing?!

Gee, so the suspense is finally over. One was breathless with anticipation wondering whether the Ponies would be #119 or #118 or by some miracle vault to #117.
The only ranking I am now interested in is the final recruiting class ranking. Gosh, do we need some players.

We need to be in the 100-105 range by the end of next season

Oh goodness smupony94, I think 90-100 is possible. It is a big jump but I think if we can get the D working it is possible.

or if we can get more than 23 td passes in a season running the run and shoot. and how many total rushing yards did we have. 350 or so??
everything next season will depend on quarterback play and if Bo really improves or Braden can step up.
IMO our D will still be in the bottom 10 in the country. Dont get all excited about bringing in a juco DB. We brought in 3 jucos last year and not one even had significant playing time. So basically we will be starting all the same people on D unless even worse, we play 3 or 4 true freshman. And being that our O this year was one of the worst it will really need to improve to win even 3-4 games at best. (Not including SFA)
i will wait till afer spring practice to make my prediction. And to see if we take another DT and QB in this class.
