Actually I have. It all seems to be about the same. Some games are worse than others obviously, but that has more to do with the size of the crowd.

SMU is bush ...certainly not top 25....orsini sits quietly off to the side, but is observant, but i dont know if he has parking and facility control....

Please tell me you are not talking about the 4th grade girls game at halftime. That was excellent, fun, and a real bringer of cheer to the evening. I would like to see more of that community involvement, those wee girls were having a great time.

Let's say you are a casual fan that has never been to Moody. You have no idea where to park, can't find a spot. You go to the ticket window and have to wait forever and the game isn't even close to full. Then you want a coke and you have to wait in line forever and miss a lot of the game. You get bossed around by the yellow shirts when there are plenty of seats.

Doesn't sound like a great experience to me. Would Cuban put up with this? Would you come back? That is our point. We complain about attendance and get treated like this all the time.

It needs to be addressed.

Then don't go to the game! Money speaks volumes! Think Steve-O would take care of things if he was the only one there?

All you are doing is getting kicked in the groin, crying about it, then going back for more! So who's stupid now?

Apparently, you because you appear to be showing up for these games. When the men's program has better direction, I'll take my $$ somewhere else -- like the women's games.

Were there a lot of late ticket sales? If so, the concession stands might have been expecting a certain sized crowd and a different sized crowd showed up. Otherwise, the morning of the game you check the ticket sales, you figure the student section numbers based upon day of the week, etc. and you open the requisite number of stands.

I think you just gave me an idea. Our mistake has been trying to haul [deleted] down there before the game. That gives us something to do afterward.

I don't know if the family plan caused a lot of late sales. I talked 9 people into coming with me. It basically cost everybody $8 for a ticket, hot dog and drink (a lot better than the $19 that it would normally cost for the same). They all disappeared shortly before halftime to get their food and came back right around the start of the second half. I would think that when they offer deals like this, they might open up more concession stands.
I didn't really have a problem at will call getting the group tickets. I would imagine that a lot of UTEP fans probably planned on buying their tickets at the game.

I can't get there from Plano much before 7 so I skip the concession stand hotdog and hold out for Bubba's! But I can also attest to the fact that there generally is no line at the concession stand right at tip-off because my father cannot walk by that place without getting something before the game.

How 'bout a concession "tent" outside for anticipated "big" crowd(s)? I know there would have to be control on the in/out aspect - but line'em up and run'em through. Kinda like that big tent at the Rice football game (the one that was giving away bar-b-que) Have some tables and chairs. I know weather/temperature is a consideration, but a little fresh air never hurt anyone.

Define "big crowd." The usual 1500-2k people?
