Ford and Microsoft Sync System

Postby Dooby » Mon Jan 12, 2009 4:09 pm

Anybody have this in their car? I bought a new Expedition with this thing in it. Say what you will about american cars and say what you will about Microsoft, but this Sync system is awesome. I think Ford exclusivity runs out after this year. I would expect almost every car company to get on board with this thing. The ads on TV don't do it justice.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I bought a 2009 Ford Fusion about 3 weeks ago and the Sync was actually one of the reasons I was very interested in the car. That and what I got in terms of car was much more value in the fusion than in the imports that I looked at buying. I love it. I'm still having some minor getting use to with it finding songs on my mp3 player but it's a winner, imo. I agree that the ads don't do it justice.

Was thirsty today. Hit the button and said, "Destination; Point of Interest; Restaurant; Sonic." On the navigation system appears directions to the closest Sonic. How friggin' cool is that?

Didn't really want to buy it but considering that my car got totaled, I really didn't have much of a choice.

No, but you could make a pretty cool aquarium out of it.

He studied under the tutelage of Oscar. Oscar gained notoriety after he inadvertently got General Patton fatally injured in that limo wreck.
