I'm sure it will be a contest played before dozens and dozens. Will I watch it? Tune in at 7 and see.
I will be watching to see if you will be watching

I don't believe in Facebook or that other web site. Instead of jumping online, how about picking up a phone?
No Big 10 games tonight that I can find. I missed Ohio State-Indiana last night on the deuce.

I'm guessing you picked up the phone and invited all of your friends to watch the game with you tonight?

Sorry, I am reviewing homework with the kiddos. If the game is on in the background, then it's on.

Did you pick up the phone and schedule a time to meet with the kiddos to review homework?

The irony of Patton calling SMU/Rice two bad teams, while being a fan of Big 10 hoops, is simply delicious
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

You know as well I do who that conference has defeated this year in non-conference play, Louisville, Texas, Kansas, Davidson, UCLA, Duke. I don't need to go on any further.

Hey, at least they got to the 2nd day of the ACC/Big 10 challenge this year, before being eliminated. When two of your top 3 or 4 teams, get blown out by a Maryland team, that if lucky, wins 6 games in conference, respect is hard to come by. I'll give you this, you're better then the SEC

Every conference should be good in at least one sport

That is really not completely true. With the Crum Center, there are new locker and weight rooms and a million dollar video scoreboard, and a new floor....Those are all the things a recruit cares about. Sure, it will be nice when they do the last phase and widen the concourse and add bathrooms and concession stands, but all the renovations a recruit cares about should be done. Moody is a great venue to watch a College Basketball game
Is it a complete sacrilege for me to say that the scoreboard is terrible?
Looking past the fact that they do not seem to know how to use it - I know people have commented here before that the operator seems to often get confused with who is in the game.
What I mean is that the scoreboard itself is just way too big. It is out of proportion to the coliseum. I know someone was nice enough to donate a $1 million scoreboard so I should not be complaining, but I really think SMU should have told them they would be happy with a slightly cheaper and smaller one. Plus, it is hard to believe a million dollars does not get you a scoreboard that shows rebounds and assists along with the fouls and points.
On the other hand, it might actually lure me into a volleyball game someday because I am really curious to see if the balls ever hit it when a girl digs a hard spike.
Sorry, rant over, back to the Rice game talk.

I'm with you on this. I like the added information, but from some angles the video screens are nearly impossible to see.
