Expecting to be being able to sit in your own seat, and get a soda without waiting a half hour are bare minimums, not red carpet treatment. If that's really what you think, then you have some pretty low expectations. So I guess SMU's recent W-L records are just fine with you, too?

W-L shouldn't be in this conversation. If anyone is happy about that, then please don't be a fan. All I was saying was if I needed to get to the game earlier to avoid waiting in line, then that's what I would do.

No one should think that because they don't have problems at AAC that Moody should run the same way. It's just not going to happen. That's being realistic. If SMU had the money that Cuban, Hicks, and the City of Dallas had, then that would be one thing. But no one wants to help SMU build a new arena, but the only way to get these problems fixed is to do that.

And kids are running the concessions stands. If only one was open, maybe other groups couldn't be found to work, or backed out at the last minute. For tickets, maybe buy your tickets in advance so you don't have to wait until the game starts to get there.

As far as people sitting in your seats, then go ask an usher to move them. Same thing happens at the AAC, so I don't want to hear anything about that. The ushers don't work full-time at SMU, so they don't know who is who. I'm glad they asked Steve for his ticket. At least some of them are doing they're job.

All I'm saying is, it is a game. If things don't go perfectly, I don't go blame everyone else except for me. Are there things that could be done differently to help my game experience, definitely. But would the same things that I want be the same as everyone else, not necessarily.

Man you're off on some tangent. RGV never said he was mad about anything, all he said was that some ushers weren't doing their job because he had to boot two UTEP guys out of his seats. You don't even need to get an usher involved. I've been booted out of seats before (including midcourt on Saturday) and it never made anybody mad. What's your deal?
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

I know some of the people that work there, and not everything that is said behind false names is true. Concessions is run by an outside company, basically whoever gives them the most money to run concessions. And those people that provide the food hire out community groups, a la HS kids or others that have been suggested run those stands. And it's not necessarily SMU's fault that there aren't enough people working. And as far as tickets go, there has always been the two booths out front and the one inside open. So yeah, I get a little defensive when people who don't have any idea start bashing some good people that try to bring a decent game experience. That's all. And we all know that if bball was winning 20 games a year and going to the NCAA, or football was getting 8 and a decent bowl, people wouldn't be compaining as much.

FYI, a lot of them do read what is said on here and try their best to accomodate as many people as possible.
