Strange fact pattern. If he was running away and didn't want to be found, he would have left his cell phone and computer so that he couldn't be traced and then could have bought a prepaid. Most younger people seem to be addicted to the cells and texting. So, it would be unusual for him to leave the house without it. Then again, he could have been meeting someone with the intent to run away with them and foul play followed. I do feel for his family.
