SMU turtlenecks?

Postby Special_Delivery_Smu_Fans » Fri Jan 16, 2009 12:42 pm

Anyone else have trouble finding SMU turtleneck shirts for the cold winter months? We found a place you can "make your own". A company called "QuarterMaster" sells turtlenecks and they monogram up to three letters for FREE.

So we ordered some with monogrammed initials SMU. They are like $15 each.....you can pick different colors and different color lettering. Here's one a guy is wearing at our office today....we need all the pub we can get.

I appreciate the effort...it seems to be a lonely battle. 8) :)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

PK: You'll be glad to know that a new hoodie sweatshirt is on sale at the B&N SMU Bookstore that is Harvard crimson. Saw it yesterday. It stands out amongst the rest of the 'red' SMU apparel on sale there! Go check it out.

Special Delivery: the blue one sounds like what I will probably order. Thanks!

Well, the crimson sweatshirt is nice, but I don't care for hooded shirts. However, I was encouraged to see a really good selection of dark "navy" blue apparel. Perhaps not all is lost yet. :)
