Yeah. She worked in my real estate office (Virginia Cook on Sherry Lane) and my wife has known her for over 30 years from when they worked with each other as waitresses at the ol' S&S Tea Room in HP Village when they both attended SMU.

Dallas County ME has ruled Jean Marie Guice's (married name) death a suicide. However, her adopted daughter's and biological son's deaths have not yet been ruled upon. All 3 were shot in the head and found in their house by a neighbor who was contacted by Jean Marie's husband to go check on them after he could not get her to answer the phone. He was at a doctor's appt. having stitches removed from his head. He reportedly was assaulted a few days earlier in their home by unknown assailants.

Jean Marie had also reported being attacked outside of our office on Sherry Lane a couple of weeks before, also by unknown assailants, who took her purse and laptop computer on either a Saturday or Sunday (sorry, I can't remember what day it was on the weekend). Jean Marie also reported being kidnapped and an attempted sexual assault by unknown assailants at her home a few days later.

So, 3 incidents involving unknown assailants in about 2 weeks time at her office and her home, in addition to the day that she was found dead along with her children.

Dallas police are continuing their investigation into all 3 incidents. Her husband, Frank, who is also a realtor in our office, remains in their house on Briarmeadow.

I think it was the day after Jean Marie was found dead, Chris Hanson (Dale's son), was quoted in the DMN saying that he and Jean Marie had been 'dating' and that she was going thru a difficult time in her marriage.
