He has no choice. Unlike the BSC, which is a cartel that functions as a monopoly, the practice of medicine is a pure monopoly (According to Milton Friedman). One is a private monopoly while the other is a goobernment sanctioned monopoly. Try practicing medicine without a license and see how effective the monopoly and its state sponsor can be at crushing competition.

I don't know there are a few BCS schools that have medical schools that might be able to help him. Especially the ones that do the alternative medicine stuff, since what he has is "not treatable". Time to start that juice diet. Had a friend who was told he had a year to live, and he decided, why should I be sick for a year and pay for the Doctor's new Lexus. So, he gave up meats, drank tons of juices (turned orange from carrot juice) and the tumor stopped growing. The guy is healthier than most people and that was 8 years ago.

East' - you hit the nail on the head. Did my own research based on my own scare this past summer & learned the same thing. Needless to say, changed my diet (only red meat once or twice weekly) & feel lighter, more energy & just feel great!!!
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
