Congrats to the team on a much needed W.

Thumbs up:
Really liked what I saw from Justin Haynes. I thought Williams had one of his best games of the season.
Glad to see TK got a few minutes. He needs the experience.
McCoy & Papa were solid. Bamba was OK.
I thought the zone was effective.
Good crowd considering the records of the 2 teams. Alot of youth team/enthusiam @ Moody last night.

Thumbs down:
8 minutes without scoring is just brutal, very rough 1st half.
The team still looks very uncomfortable running their offense.
Mo needs to take the rock to the hole & stop hanging around on the wings waiting to pull the trigger on another j. This is 2 games in a row where his shot looks extremely "acme" like.
Agree with everyone about the halftime show. Very painful to watch.
Although Kato can still stroke the J. Let's just leave it as a "nice memory"
re: their careers.

Remaining questions- Consistency from the top 3 to 4 guys off the bench.
Who is going to emerge out of this group?
Can the team win on the road?

Again, Nice W. Had a good time @ the game

Forgive me, but I opted to go watch Deron Williams play against the Mavs last night. Was this alumni weekend or just a failed halftime entertainment stunt?? It shouldn't surprise me, but if this was alumni weekend, then once again SMU failed to announce it anywhere...at least where I saw it.

It was alumni weekend, and like you, I did not know it until I heard the radio guys talk about it as I was parking my car at Moody.

Happy for them that they won but 9-19 at the free throw line is ridiculous.

I wonder if Kato Armstrong has any eligibility left, he hit about 3 or 4 three pointers in a row.

seeing Cato reminded me of Carl. Which reminded me of Bracey. What happened to him? NBADL somewhere?

http://www.joventutbadalona.com/

He is currently playing over in Spain for Joventut Badalona, so Ricky Rubio is his backcourt mate.

And one other random fact thanks to Wikipedia - this is one of only 3 teams that have never been relegated from the top division of the Spanish League.
I wish we had some form of relegation in American sports...

You r exactly right. It was thumbs down & played a major role in several of the L's this year.
Its amazing how much your record will improve if you can just take care of the little things like FT% & turnovers.
I'm not sure how much time they are spending @ Crum shooting FT's but I recommend they move over to Moody for extra FT shooting & each player put up @ least 100 extra per day.
We probably would be 8-7 right now if we could hit the freebies.
