alright, I'll go ahead and say it. NO JOKES about the 9-iron club, or long putter club, or anything to that effect, you sickos.

On another note, I wouldn't mind throwing a few more sheckels Rhonda's direction. Our only conference champ should get some more support. Tell me more, those that know.

The 3-point club is for women's basketball, other sports I know have had "Friends Of" type fundraising groups in the past, but not sure if they still do. At one point under the Copeland administration, everything was consolidated and all the funds were put into the athletic departments general budget. Orsini let's Rhonda have a club for her donors, and I would imagine that other sports can if they want to.

There are different levels to donate at, and different packages of perks that come with membership. Last year was kind of a bumper crop of perks, free season tickets, t-shirts, pre-game meals and chalk talks with coach, visits to the locker room, tour of the Crum center, basketballs signed by the team, lot's of stuff like that. Larger donors get their names on the scoreboard during games, trips with the team, free tickets to the awards banquet, and more stuff like that.

This year the perks have kind of been trimmed down a bit (gotta watch the budget) but we still have pregame meals and chalk talks with coach, and t-shirts, etc. The person to contact would be Margaret Kovac in the women's basketball office, 214-768-4040. She'll be happy to send you all the info you need.

Contacting the Mustang Club also might work. Last year joining the 3-point club automatically also made you a member in the Mustang Club, so there is some interaction, there. I'm not sure if it still works that way, I'll have to find the brochures and read them again. But if you call Margaret and give her your address she'll be happy to help you out. Or, you could just stop by the womens basketball offices in Crum.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.

Each sport has a "friends of" group if you want to make a specific donation and the Mustang Club office can give you more info.

Absolutely right. In what was supposed to be a down year after losing Dodds, Shepherd, Cobb, et al, she has the Ponies playing very well. They've won six of their last seven, and eight of their last 10. I went to Fort Worthless for the Frog beatdown, and we outplayed and out-hustled a team with more players and more talent, and there was absolutely no doubt Coach Rompola and her staff out-coached their Froggy counterparts.

You know good and well that a divorce does not cost "a little money".

Kinda like if you're ever tempted to get married, just buy her a house and dump her instead.
