I strongly disagree.
I remember watching that 2003 team. It was beyond inept. I remember one game in particular where SMU had done so little on offense that I actually thought it was more likely that SMU would get a trunover and score than the offense would be able to move the ball. I also remember the defense being awful, too. The team didn't blitz. It didn't get any pressure and people clammored for a blitz or two. Then late in hte season, I actually saw the team blitz and knew why the team didn't blitz-because it didn't matter. The team still got absolutely no pressure on the QB. That team was awful. I will also note that simulation has Keylon Kincaid with 3 TD runs of less than three yards. Everyone here knows that would have never happened. He would have fumbled on the goal line. BTW, that simulation has the 2003 team score more than twice as many points as it scored in any game that season. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Blow me Kathy.

I didn't say it the sim did, and our D is certainly worse. ![]()
I put it to you that the 2003 Offense was worse than the 2008 Defense. In 2003, SMU played the 98th, 104th, 105th, 106th and 117th ranked defenses in the Country. Keep in mind there were only 117 teams that year. Against La. Tech, the worst defensive team in the country, SMU scored a whopping six points. Against Rice (98th ranked Defense) SMU scored 20. Against UTEP (104th ranked Defense) SMU scored 19. Against Baylor (105th ranked Defense) SMU scored 7. Against Texas Tech (106th ranked Defense) SMU scored 10. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
