big time bust. pampered kid who never had to work. Pitino has no problem if you have bad grades or if you have off court issues if you can play. In fact, he can put up with everything if you can play, if you can't play he gets rid of you.

Saying that he cant play is stretching things a bit, but the kid is a serious headcase. If he pulls himself together mentally he could be a major force in C-USA, but thats a big "if".

Caracter was far from a bust, he's just a completely unbalanced lithium candidate. From a talent perspective, he's elite for CUSA and elevates Barbee and UTEP. I actually expect to see Barbee get another job op in the next few years. At a legit location, he'd be a recruiting monster
