There is a lot of money in the Heath area...wonder how many big Mizzou boosters live nearby?

Jag is nothing more today than a redesigned Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis.

It is not an impressive car.

Interesting side note. Ronnie Wingo, a 4 star running back from St. Louis is making his decision today or tomorrow. His two final schools are supposedly Arkansas and Missouri. He is going to choose in the same manner as Kendial, by going on a local TV channel and announcing his selection. So either he will slam the local folks by announcing for an out of state school on a local station, or he will announce Missouri and Kendial will have some additional competition at running back.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand

I would think a decent Jag would be no less than about 30K, unless it was an old beater? A new Jag would be like 60K?

You can a used early 00's Jaguar x-type for around $15k or less. It would depend a lot on the model. As someone else mentioned, they are basically overpriced Fords.
It's entirely possible this kid got it himself, but the timing is unusual - especially if it's a brand new car.

could have meant new to him. don't put any faith in "barbershop talk".
it's probably a used one. here's an 01 for $8,000. w/ a little help from the folks as a reward for a job well done, this isn't out of reach for a kid who's getting a full ride to college

not really. we should be focusing on kids who haven't made their decision yet, or the ones who have committed to SMU.
But to get it deleted, we will need to change the subject to how great the Bush Library will be for SMU and Dallas
