sometimes its the little things that make a big impact...

average attendance
Tulsa 5,751 (4,192 students)
SMU 2,944 (11,000 students)

[quote]Colleagues,

We have a great opportunity to support our men’s basketball team this Wednesday evening, January 28th, when the University of Alabama-Birmingham comes to the Reynolds Center for a 7:05 p.m. tipoff against the Golden Hurricane. We need a large and supportive student section at this game as our team battles for top position in Conference USA.

I want you to come to the game and then “be my guestâ€

All those students will make for a long line at one concession stand.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Offering free food normally does the trick, but in our case there would only be one concession stand open and it wouldn't be able to handle such a large influx of patrons. Thus, all of the first timers would wind up standing in the narrow concourse instead of watching the game and regretting they ever stepped foot inside of Moody.
