When you look @ the top player in the JUCO ranks you will notice the name of Gary Flowers. He played his HS ball in Dallas @ Lincoln.
4 of the top 12 players play on his team @ Chipola in Florida & they are all unsigned at the moment. How bout a package deal for a couple of em?

I'm not sure I wouldn't prefer Laron Dendy to any player on that list. He was a legit Top 60 kid coming out of high school. Originally verballed to Clemson until the school he was attending had its credentials pulled by the clearinghouse. It was a diploma mill, basically, not a real school. Anyway, he's a serious talent.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

At first I thought - 115 on JUCO list and your excited?
Then I thought... dump lazy Papa Dia. ( Now I know how he got the name ) and sign this guy to fill his space.
Can we call Dia.... Move'n kind of slow Uncle Joe Dia!
Guy needs some serious adjustment like a nice bus ticket.

Why would you run our only legit big, after half a bad season, where everyone's numbers are down?
Did he not have a good freshman year? But, for some reason, we're 16 games into his soph year and you've declared him a bust. He may well be a bust, but that's yet to be determined. There are plenty of other, non contributing, limited talents on this team that you run before Dia.
Beyond that, Dia doesn't play the same position as Eiland.

I'm not sure how recent that top 150 list is.
If you are the #1 prospect I would imagine you have some offers but it appears his entire JC team is available.
I think alot of the JUCO signings happen late. because you have programs that want to wait & see who is turning pro, transferring, etc. & with some you have to wait on grades.
The one thing I do know is that Doh needs to hit a home run with the 2 remaining rides it looks like that are going to be available & unless another freshman like Paul McCoy falls into this lap than the JC route is the way to go.

It has been rumored on this board lately that some feel Hoge was a 1 year ride & that Malone will be run off. No facts, just here say @ this point.
