2-star athlete considering SMU

Rivals.com is reporting that SMU is among a handful of schools being considered by Mesquite (Poteet) athlete Jordan Johnson (6-1, 190, 4.5). In addition to SMU, he's said to be considering Purdue, Texas A&M and Utah. No word on offers or visits.

Never heard of him, but it sounds like he's got good size and speed, and those are some good schools to compete against. Purdue has a history in recent years of coming down here and yanking some good players out of Texas, and if they're after this guy, he might be worth offering. Anyone have any stats on him?

I'm pretty sure(actually I know) Purdue recruited Bartel. I'm not making a Bartel comment, more of a Purdue comment. They seem to realize the gold mine in DFW amd are trying to set up connections...

Purdue's coach has always recruited Texas, even before he got there. I think he has a lot of connections down here.
