Final stats - unbelievable!
Derek - 7-11 from the floor (64%)
Rest of the team - 10-46 (22%)

Don't give up on Coach Doh!!! He was national Coach of the Year one time!!! SMU just has an inexperienced team!!!
I gotta be honest; I'm really tired of your sarcastic posts. We all realize that this program is going nowhere, but I really don't think these sarcastic posts do anything but rile people up

This wasn't close to the ugliest all-time SMU hoops losses!!!
Two worst I'm familiar with came in Dement's final year -- 40 point loss at Rice and 40 point loss at home to Boise!!!
coach Doh will have these guys playing better once they have more experience!!! That is why it was great that TK got in the game!!! He's starting to get more experience!!! And once he has more experience, he'll be able to help SMU have a program to be proud of!!!
Pony ^!!!

I believe Doh really cares and this whole scene eats him up. Problem is that he cannot find the right buttons to punch to make things change. Kids are really down, team has no confidence, inexperience hurts and the absence of any leadership is a killer. In addition, he has no recruiting prospects who can come in and turn things around. Yep, he has a major delimma.

Okay, Harry. You got me. SMU stinks in hoops.
Just trying to have a laugh, that is all.
Best to you, my friend.

No it's fine. I don't know, I am just incredibly disappointed with the team's performance. I know you are joking around, but I am tired of hearing it you know? It's always "Just wait until next year," and of course it never pans out and we suck. I'm not really that mad at you at all, just frustrated with how bad SMU athletics are.

I told my team that while I was @ NC we got beat my Maryland one year by 40, the worst loss in school history. Then that team went on to win the national championship.
Inspiring. He just forgot to tell them he got canned & wasn't the coach of the team that won the national championship. I know, he recruited most of the players on the championship team.
I really like Doh. I feel bad for him. He's just not the right fit here.

29% from the floor....... 11% from the arc..... outrebounded by a ridiculous margin...... twice as many turnovers as assists....... AHHHHHH! The Numbers! Make Them Stop!
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.

But...did we break any records? I have to look some up.
Thought that 29% might have a shot...but no, Doherty's 2007 team shot 28% on the road against Marshall
Thought hitting only 17 FGs might have a shot...no, that 2007 team made only 15 against Tulsa
Only 2-18 from 3 point range...no, Tubbs' 2006 team has that one, with a 1-12 effort against Houston
Worst road loss ever in CUSA...no, the last 2 seasons have seen losses to Memphis by 36, Memphis & UTEP by 29 and ECU by 28
But it will get better, right? Isn't that why we all keep coming back for more of this punishment??

The "Crumy" Center really seems to be paying off.
Please go back & practice @ Moody.

But I liked it when he said we could be the "Duke of Dallas"
